English Summer Rain

Of all Summers we spent in the UK, this is one of the few that feels British. It’s warm, but it’s raining a lot. It changes continually. It’s the type of weather I longed for years.

Ironically, it’s going to be our last Summer here. We moved to the UK nine years ago from our home country, Italy, eager to start a new life in a place whose culture fascinated us.

Now, with the pandemic ongoing and Brexit around the corner, I can’t wait to go back. That’s a phrase I never thought I’d utter.

On this blog, my husband and I will document our journey to find the Good Place.

Hold your breath and count to ten

Then fall apart and start again

Hold your breath and count to ten

Start again

Start again
